Vietnam School Tours

Hoi An might translate as ‘peaceful meeting place’ but it most certainly has so much more to offer than just rest.  The Ancient Town and former trading port of Hoi An is most certainly one of our favourites and it offers so much to any tour group seeking a mixture of history, culture, fun and yes…. relaxation!

  1. Peddle Power - Cycling is a great way for students and teachers alike to explore this former trading port and its wonderful surrounds. Traditional villages, architecture, lush rice paddies, textiles and ceramics - Hoi An has it all. And what better way to explore, savour and breathe it all in than from the back of a push bike.

  1. Take a cooking class – Hội An is known for its diverse and excellent food: a legacy of the many nationalities, including Japanese, Chinese and Portuguese, that lived or traded here. And whether students are studying food technology or not a traditional cooking class is a sure fire win any way you look at it. Getting hands on and delving into the traditional culinary ways of Hoi An students will develop a deep appreciation of the flavours, history and culture of Vietnamese cuisine.

  1. Experience an eco-tour – A traditional eco tour is a fantastic opportunity to experience first-hand the authentic daily lives of the local fishing and farming communities in and around Hoi An. In particular, a traditional eco tour is a great way to build knowledge about sustainable farming as well as the impacts of, and responses of local people to environmental change. Oh, and did we mention they are heaps of hands-on fun!

  1. Time Out – A typical 13 day tour can be a little tiring at times and Hoi An offers the perfect location for a little rest and relaxation. Throw in some pool or river views and you have the perfect recharge for the whole group!
