FAQS

Our tours are designed for high school students travelling with their school as part of a broader educational journey. Whether the focus is on extending classroom learning, exploring new cultures, engaging in meaningful service, or taking on new challenges, we work closely with schools to design experiences that are purposeful, age-appropriate, and aligned with your educational goals. Above all, we prioritise student safety through careful planning, trusted partnerships, and dedicated on-the-ground support.
While we originally began by specialising in Vietnam, we now offer educational travel across a wide range of destinations in Asia — including Cambodia, Thailand, Japan, Malaysia, and Borneo. Each country has been carefully selected for its educational value, cultural richness, and safety. Our in-depth local knowledge and trusted partnerships allow us to deliver meaningful, well-supported experiences wherever you choose to travel.
Absolutely. We collaborate closely with teachers to design tours that support your school’s learning goals. Whether you’re looking to extend classroom content, explore real-world connections, or provide hands-on learning opportunities, we’ll tailor the experience to suit your curriculum and student needs.
We use safe, clean, and student-friendly accommodation — typically 3–5 star hotels that are comfortable, well-located, and appropriate for school groups. In some destinations, we may also include unique stays such as eco-lodges or traditional longhouses to enrich the cultural experience. All accommodations are carefully vetted by our local team to ensure high standards of safety, comfort, and quality.
Yes. Community service is a key feature of many of our programs. From education support to environmental initiatives or village-based development work, we offer meaningful, ethical service opportunities that benefit both students and communities.
Our tours are generally all-inclusive, covering both international and local flights, accommodation, meals, transportation, entry fees, guides, local support staff, and activity costs. The only common exclusions are travel insurance and any funds for community service projects your school may wish to support. Of course, we’re happy to adjust inclusions based on your school’s specific needs and preferences.
Risk management is at the core of everything we do. We provide detailed risk assessments, work with experienced local partners, and offer 24/7 on-call support throughout your trip. Our team has over a decade of experience managing safe and successful school tours.
Yes. We assist with pre-departure planning, student paperwork, visa requirements, parent information sessions, and risk documentation. We also offer an online booking system to streamline admin for schools.
This depends on group size and destination, but typically, we offer one free staff place per 10 students. Additional staff can be added at cost.
We recommend beginning the planning process 9–12 months in advance to secure your preferred travel dates, flights, and accommodation — especially for peak travel periods like April, July and October through to December.
Yes. We offer a variety of Week Without Walls programs that combine adventure, cultural immersion, and meaningful service learning. Each tour can be tailored to align with your school’s goals and frameworks, including CAS or other experiential learning initiatives.
Absolutely. We’ve worked with schools from Australia, Thailand, America, Myanmar, and beyond, and would be happy to connect you with educators who have travelled with us.
